The Sport 200 hydrofoil improves handling, providing better maneuverability and a smoother ride. Its crescent-shaped surface quickly funnels water for more thrust, reducing planing time for the quickest hole shot. It also cuts planing time and keeps the boat on plane at lower speeds, resulting in fuel savings and better stability. The hydrofoil is made of high-strength copolymer construction and comes with stainless steel hardware.

The Sport 200 hydrofoil has proven to defeat cavitation and eliminate porpoising. It also offers lower speed navigation and more precision in curves with its "Turbo Trac" shape. The curved shape reduces the trace and helps eliminate cavitation. The hydrofoil kit comes with all the necessary screws for assembly and requires simple drilling.

The Whale Tail Boat Hydrofoil Stabilizer Kit is compatible with 8 to 40 HP engines and fits most sterndrives and outboards, from 8 HP to unlimited HP. However, there are exceptions for Volvo engines with exhaust through the cavitation plate and Mercury Bravo II. Additionally, Mercury Bravo III with only one anode on the bottom of the cavitation plate is also an exception.
